Notepad privacy policy

Last updated 27 October 2026

Notepad collects no personal data. It has no internet access, no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Your notes and files stay where you keep them.

What the app stores

  • Your notes, in the app’s own database or in a folder of .txt files you choose (which may be synced by a service you use, such as Google Drive).
  • Your settings and any words you add to the spell-check dictionary.

Files

  • The app only opens, saves, imports or exports the files and folders you pick, using Android’s file picker.
  • Text shared into the app from other apps is only used to create a note.

Sharing

  • Nothing is sent to XRMX or anyone else. The app does not use the internet.

Children

The app doesn’t knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
